Annastacia Palaszczuk, Premierministerin des australischen Bundesstaates Queensland, will eine Kampane gegen häusliche Gewalt anstoßen, die auch männliche Opfer anerkennt. Palaszczuk zufolge hatte ein Gespräch mit einem dieser Opfer ihre Meinungsänderung in dieser Frage bewirkt.

Im britischen Guardian erklärt Kate Iselin, warum sie keine männlichen Feministen mehr datet:

Men looking for feminist-sanctioned romance tend to fall in to one of two categories: those who use our attraction as a sign of approval and seek out trophy feminists to clear their conscience of any inherent patriarchal wrong-doing, and outright predators who employ a bare-bones knowledge of feminist discourse to target any young woman whose politics so much as graze the notion of sex-positivity. (...) For every male feminist horror story I have lived, I’ve been told a dozen more by equally-frustrated female friends.

Wie Genderama berichtete, hat an der britischen Universität Oxford Annie Teriba, Sprecherin der homo-, bi- und transsexuellen Studenten, ihre Ämter niedergelegt, nachdem sie sich selbst nicht-einvernehmlichen Sexes bezichtigt hatte. In diesem Fall gibt es jetzt eine neue Entwicklung:

Two women allegedly sexually assaulted by an Oxford University student activist have accused her of rape and said she had tried to "paint herself as the victim" to gain sympathy. (...) Her apparent victims have claimed that the "mea culpa" was less than forthcoming and was only released after they confronted Miss Teriba. They said Miss Teriba (...) was a liar, and claimed: "Let's be clear: Annie Teriba is a rapist." The online statement, published on Tumblr, went on: "We find it particularly ironic that she has been a prominent voice against the very actions she herself has committed."

Und an der Volkshochschule Berlin gibt die Aufschrei!-Feministin Jasna Strick ein Seminar zum Cybermobbing, wo Hate Speech und Shitstorms "erklärt und geübt werden".
